My first quote from a local company was $1900.00 to basically just trim my trees. Loyalty trimmed same trees and pulled about 15 large bushes I wanted gone for $1250.00. Michael even stayed till nearly midnight fixing a pipe that had roots wrapped around it. Good small business I would definitely recommend!!

Well… our well ran dry. 😳 As in, “turn on the faucet and absolutely nothing happens” dry. 😂 No water, no warning, and apparently Mother Nature decided we needed a new adventure. We had very limited options for where we could put a new well, and naturally, the ONE spot that would work had trees in the way. Because why would anything about this process be easy? 😂 We were already stressed, frustrated, and trying to figure out how in the world we were going to make all of this happen. Let’s be real—nobody has a spare pile of money sitting around waiting for their well to quit working. Especially these days! So we started asking some friends out here in the country who they would recommend for tree work. They told us about Mike with Loyal Tree. Y’all… within HOURS, Mike showed up. A friend of his called and told him that he had friends without water who needed some trees removed, and Mike dropped what he was doing and came to help. Now THAT is the kind of thing you don’t forget. Mike was kind, caring, compassionate, and just genuinely wanted to help us. He didn’t treat us like just another job or another paycheck. He saw that we were in a bind and showed up. And honestly, when you’re already stressed enough to cry, sometimes all you can do is laugh. 😂 Because stressing, crying, and staring at the empty faucet aren’t going to magically make the water come back! God definitely put the right people in our path at the right time. There aren’t a lot of businesses left where you feel like you’re dealing with good old-fashioned folks who actually care about helping people instead of just making a buck. Mike reminded us that those people are still out there. Once we get this whole well situation figured out and everything is put back together, Loyal Tree will absolutely be getting another call from us. Mike has earned our business, our gratitude, and a whole lot of appreciation from our family. If you need tree work done, give Loyal Tree a call. Good people, good work, and the kind of service that reminds you there are still folks out there who will stop what they’re doing to lend a hand. ❤️🌳 Thank you, Mike, for helping us out when we were really in a bind. We appreciate you more than you know! Now… if anybody knows how to convince our well to start cooperating, we’re taking suggestions. 😂💧🙏

We could not be more impressed with this tree company! From start to finish, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Communication was excellent, they arrived right on time, and they delivered exactly what we asked for. They even went above and beyond by removing and cleaning up some old, large stumps we had. As a bird enthusiast, I was especially touched by the care and respect they showed around the large natural nesting area on our property. They took the extra time and had incredible patience while carefully working around the nests and eggs, making sure the birds and their habitat remained safe and undisturbed. This was incredibly meaningful to me, and I cannot express how appreciative I am of their thoughtfulness and compassion. The area was extremely difficult to access, but they handled everything with incredible skill and professionalism. They left the property clean and tidy, and the results exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend them!

Frequently asked questions

Do you serve Springfield?

Yes. Springfield is the Effingham County seat and it is a short run from our base in Guyton, so we are there regularly. That covers the older streets around the courthouse, the newer neighbourhoods pushing out from the edges of town, and the rural properties on the roads out toward Clyo and Egypt.

How much does tree removal cost in Springfield?

Size, condition and access decide it. Springfield has some genuinely big old hardwoods on the established streets, and a mature water oak leaning over a hundred-year-old roof is a different job from a pine in an open field, priced accordingly. We look at the actual tree and give you a free written estimate before anything starts. What drives the price.

What kind of tree work does Springfield usually need?

Two very different jobs depending on where you are. In the older parts of town it is mature hardwood care: deadwood removal, clearance over roofs and driveways, and honest assessment of oaks that are further along than they look. On the newer edges it is the same pine problem as the rest of the county, thin trees left standing after a lot was cleared.

How quickly can you get to Springfield?

Same day or next day for an estimate, and inside the hour for a genuine emergency. We are based in Guyton, in the middle of the county, which means Springfield is never a long drive for us. We answer the phone 24 hours a day at (912) 342-0440.

Do I need a permit to remove a tree in Springfield?

Check before you cut. The City of Springfield has its own zoning code, and rules tighten on commercial parcels, new development and required buffers. A homeowner removing a dead or dangerous tree in their own yard is usually fine. We confirm with the city first rather than assuming, and we will tell you if your lot has something on it worth knowing about.

Do you handle storm emergencies in Springfield?

Yes, 24 hours a day. Trees on houses, trees across driveways, dangerous leaners and limbs hung up over a roof. We also document the damage properly for your insurance adjuster. Emergency tree service.

Who actually shows up?

Michael Williams, the owner, with 20+ years of hands-on tree experience. He looks at the tree, quotes it, and is on the job when the work happens. You are not getting a salesman with a tablet followed a week later by a crew you have never met.
