My first quote from a local company was $1900.00 to basically just trim my trees. Loyalty trimmed same trees and pulled about 15 large bushes I wanted gone for $1250.00. Michael even stayed till nearly midnight fixing a pipe that had roots wrapped around it. Good small business I would definitely recommend!!

Well… our well ran dry. 😳 As in, “turn on the faucet and absolutely nothing happens” dry. 😂 No water, no warning, and apparently Mother Nature decided we needed a new adventure. We had very limited options for where we could put a new well, and naturally, the ONE spot that would work had trees in the way. Because why would anything about this process be easy? 😂 We were already stressed, frustrated, and trying to figure out how in the world we were going to make all of this happen. Let’s be real—nobody has a spare pile of money sitting around waiting for their well to quit working. Especially these days! So we started asking some friends out here in the country who they would recommend for tree work. They told us about Mike with Loyal Tree. Y’all… within HOURS, Mike showed up. A friend of his called and told him that he had friends without water who needed some trees removed, and Mike dropped what he was doing and came to help. Now THAT is the kind of thing you don’t forget. Mike was kind, caring, compassionate, and just genuinely wanted to help us. He didn’t treat us like just another job or another paycheck. He saw that we were in a bind and showed up. And honestly, when you’re already stressed enough to cry, sometimes all you can do is laugh. 😂 Because stressing, crying, and staring at the empty faucet aren’t going to magically make the water come back! God definitely put the right people in our path at the right time. There aren’t a lot of businesses left where you feel like you’re dealing with good old-fashioned folks who actually care about helping people instead of just making a buck. Mike reminded us that those people are still out there. Once we get this whole well situation figured out and everything is put back together, Loyal Tree will absolutely be getting another call from us. Mike has earned our business, our gratitude, and a whole lot of appreciation from our family. If you need tree work done, give Loyal Tree a call. Good people, good work, and the kind of service that reminds you there are still folks out there who will stop what they’re doing to lend a hand. ❤️🌳 Thank you, Mike, for helping us out when we were really in a bind. We appreciate you more than you know! Now… if anybody knows how to convince our well to start cooperating, we’re taking suggestions. 😂💧🙏

We could not be more impressed with this tree company! From start to finish, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Communication was excellent, they arrived right on time, and they delivered exactly what we asked for. They even went above and beyond by removing and cleaning up some old, large stumps we had. As a bird enthusiast, I was especially touched by the care and respect they showed around the large natural nesting area on our property. They took the extra time and had incredible patience while carefully working around the nests and eggs, making sure the birds and their habitat remained safe and undisturbed. This was incredibly meaningful to me, and I cannot express how appreciative I am of their thoughtfulness and compassion. The area was extremely difficult to access, but they handled everything with incredible skill and professionalism. They left the property clean and tidy, and the results exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend them!

Frequently asked questions

Do you really cross into South Carolina?

Yes, regularly. Beaufort and Jasper Counties are a standing part of our service area, covering Bluffton, Beaufort, Hilton Head Island, Port Royal, Lady’s Island, Okatie and Hardeeville. We are based in Guyton, Georgia, and the Lowcountry is a straightforward run for us.

Is there an extra charge for South Carolina jobs?

No cross-border surcharge. Travel is priced into a quote the same way it is anywhere at the edge of our range, so one small job a long way out may come in differently than the same work close to home, and several jobs in the same area price better. You see the number in writing before anything starts.

Do the tree rules differ from Georgia?

Yes, significantly, and it catches people out. Lowcountry jurisdictions generally have far stricter tree protection than Effingham County does. Beaufort County, the Town of Bluffton, the City of Beaufort and especially the Town of Hilton Head Island all protect trees by size and species, and removals routinely need a permit and sometimes replacement planting. POAs add their own rules. We check before we cut.

What tree work does the Lowcountry usually need?

Live oak care above all: deadwood clearing, lifting canopies off roofs and drives, and cabling long horizontal limbs that have outgrown their union. Then pine, on lots cut out of a stand and left with tall thin trees over houses. Salt, wind and a high water table stress everything here, so trees tend to fail earlier than their appearance suggests.

Do you handle hurricane and storm cleanup in the Lowcountry?

Yes, 24 hours a day, and it is a large part of what we do here between August and October. Trees on structures, blocked access, dangerous leaners, and proper photo documentation for your insurance claim. Call (912) 342-0440 any hour.

Can you work inside gated communities and plantations?

Yes. Give us the community name at the estimate and we will arrange gate access, contractor registration and proof of insurance ahead of the day, plus work within any restricted hours or haul-off routes the community requires.

Are you insured to work in South Carolina?

Yes, licensed and insured on every job in both states, with a certificate of insurance available before we start. Most Lowcountry POAs will want it on file before your crew is allowed through the gate, and we can send it directly to them.
