Rincon is home turf for us. We are based just up the road in Guyton, which means quick response, fair local pricing, and a crew that knows Effingham County trees and soil.
Rincon’s mix of established neighborhoods and new construction means everything from mature live oaks that need careful pruning to lot clearing for new builds. We handle it all.
When you hire us in Rincon, you get the owner on site — not a salesperson, and not a crew from two counties over. We’re right up the road in Guyton, insured, and quick to respond when a limb’s over your roof or a job needs doing before the weekend. Rincon is one of the busiest corners of our Effingham County service area.

My first quote from a local company was $1900.00 to basically just trim my trees. Loyalty trimmed same trees and pulled about 15 large bushes I wanted gone for $1250.00. Michael even stayed till nearly midnight fixing a pipe that had roots wrapped around it. Good small business I would definitely recommend!!Posted on Google![]()

Well… our well ran dry. 😳 As in, “turn on the faucet and absolutely nothing happens” dry. 😂 No water, no warning, and apparently Mother Nature decided we needed a new adventure. We had very limited options for where we could put a new well, and naturally, the ONE spot that would work had trees in the way. Because why would anything about this process be easy? 😂 We were already stressed, frustrated, and trying to figure out how in the world we were going to make all of this happen. Let’s be real—nobody has a spare pile of money sitting around waiting for their well to quit working. Especially these days! So we started asking some friends out here in the country who they would recommend for tree work. They told us about Mike with Loyal Tree. Y’all… within HOURS, Mike showed up. A friend of his called and told him that he had friends without water who needed some trees removed, and Mike dropped what he was doing and came to help. Now THAT is the kind of thing you don’t forget. Mike was kind, caring, compassionate, and just genuinely wanted to help us. He didn’t treat us like just another job or another paycheck. He saw that we were in a bind and showed up. And honestly, when you’re already stressed enough to cry, sometimes all you can do is laugh. 😂 Because stressing, crying, and staring at the empty faucet aren’t going to magically make the water come back! God definitely put the right people in our path at the right time. There aren’t a lot of businesses left where you feel like you’re dealing with good old-fashioned folks who actually care about helping people instead of just making a buck. Mike reminded us that those people are still out there. Once we get this whole well situation figured out and everything is put back together, Loyal Tree will absolutely be getting another call from us. Mike has earned our business, our gratitude, and a whole lot of appreciation from our family. If you need tree work done, give Loyal Tree a call. Good people, good work, and the kind of service that reminds you there are still folks out there who will stop what they’re doing to lend a hand. ❤️🌳 Thank you, Mike, for helping us out when we were really in a bind. We appreciate you more than you know! Now… if anybody knows how to convince our well to start cooperating, we’re taking suggestions. 😂💧🙏Posted on Google![]()

We could not be more impressed with this tree company! From start to finish, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. Communication was excellent, they arrived right on time, and they delivered exactly what we asked for. They even went above and beyond by removing and cleaning up some old, large stumps we had. As a bird enthusiast, I was especially touched by the care and respect they showed around the large natural nesting area on our property. They took the extra time and had incredible patience while carefully working around the nests and eggs, making sure the birds and their habitat remained safe and undisturbed. This was incredibly meaningful to me, and I cannot express how appreciative I am of their thoughtfulness and compassion. The area was extremely difficult to access, but they handled everything with incredible skill and professionalism. They left the property clean and tidy, and the results exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend them!
Yes, and it is our busiest area. Rincon is the largest city in Effingham County and we are based in Guyton, about ten minutes down the road, so we are in Rincon most weeks. That covers the older neighbourhoods off Fort Howard Road, everything along the Highway 21 corridor, and the newer subdivisions spreading out from town.
It depends on size, condition and access. A single pine in an open Rincon back yard is a few hundred dollars. A large hardwood over the roof of a house on a tight subdivision lot, with a fence one side and the power drop the other, is technical work and costs considerably more. We do not price trees over the phone. The estimate is free and in writing. What drives the price.
Pines. A lot of the newer subdivisions here were cut into standing pine, which leaves tall thin trees that never had to hold themselves up in open wind, sitting right over new roofs. After a wet spell and a decent blow, those are the ones that go over root plate and all. The other regular call is clearance pruning on the older, wider hardwoods in the established parts of town.
Usually within the hour, and we answer the phone 24 hours a day. Being ten minutes away in Guyton is the whole advantage here, because after a storm the out-of-town crews are booked solid for a week and you are on a list. Call (912) 342-0440 any time.
Possibly, and it is worth checking before anything comes down. The City of Rincon has tree regulations in its zoning code, and requirements are strictest on new development, commercial lots and landscape or drainage buffers. For a homeowner taking down a dead or hazardous tree in their own yard it is usually straightforward. We check with the city before we cut so you are not the one left holding a violation.
Yes, as part of a removal. We grind below grade and clean up the chips. Mention it at the estimate so it is priced in from the start.
Yes, licensed and insured on every job, and we will send a certificate of insurance before we start. Worth asking any company that knocks on your door after a storm for the same thing, because plenty of the crews working Effingham after a big blow are from three states away and carrying nothing.
