They cleaned everything after the job and my grass was not harmed! How much does tree removal cost in Effingham County?

It comes down to three things: the size of the tree, its condition, and how hard it is to reach. A small pine in an open yard is a few hundred dollars. A large hardwood leaning over a roof, hemmed in by a fence and power lines, is careful technical work and costs considerably more. We do not quote trees sight unseen, and the estimate is free and in writing. See what drives the price.

How do you take down a tree that is right next to my house?

In pieces, not in one drop. A climber or the bucket truck works down from the top, and each limb and section of trunk is roped and lowered rather than allowed to fall. It is slower and it is why a tight removal costs more than felling a tree in an open field, but it is the difference between a clean job and a hole in your roof.

Do you remove the stump too?

Yes, as part of the removal. We grind it below grade and clean up the chips. Mention it when we do the estimate so it is priced in from the start rather than turning up later as an extra.

Will you tear up my lawn or landscaping?

Honest answer: heavy equipment on soft coastal ground leaves marks. We plan the approach before anything rolls, lay mats or plywood where the ground is wet, and rake and blow the site before we leave. If we cannot reach the tree without crossing something you care about, we tell you that at the estimate instead of discovering it on the day.

What happens to the wood?

We haul it all off unless you want it. Plenty of customers ask us to leave the trunk cut into rounds for firewood, which is fine and costs nothing extra. Just say so up front and we will stack it where you want it rather than hauling it to the truck first.

Are you insured for removals close to my house?

Yes. LoyalTree is licensed and insured on every job and we will send you a certificate of insurance before we start if you want to see it. This matters more on removals than any other tree work, because if something goes wrong next to a structure and the crew is not covered, it lands on your homeowners policy.
